Car Challenge!

In these somewhat frugal times I began searching for a new (used) car. What you might know as 'White Lightning' a 1998 Mark VIII, was starting to show its wear after 150,000 great photographic miles. My good friend Kalvin McGhee was up to the challenge to find me a car that could replace my passion for 'White Lightning."

Amazingly enough he found a 1996 Taurus SHO in New York with only 80,000 miles on it. Its mine!

You may be looking for a new (used) car. I challenge you to challenge Kalvin to find you the car you want in the price range that makes you feel like you got a steal. E-mail Kalvin and tell him McSweeney doubts he can do it twice.

US Wedding Project

A new professional goal for me is to photograph a wedding in every state of the Union.
To help achieve this goal I will provide a standard wedding package, a $1500 value,
to the first couple in each state who e-mails me stating why their wedding best represents their state.

Illinois Inns and Bed & Breakfasts

Alma's Family

It is mid-December 2009 and I received a call to photograph the family over the Christmas holiday, to be specific, Christmas Night. Alma's family gathered in a church social hall outside of Mackinaw.
This type of portrait requires speedy set ups and capturing the whole group - an inside record for me - 51 people.
