I believe everyone has a unique vision, a vision worth developing and challenging to bring into the public view. Some people express their vision in poems, essays, music or painting. Photography, and all its permutations, is my medium of choice.
I see and I want to share. I struggle with the value of my vision, capturing, manipulating and presenting my images in a manner that captivates the viewers interest and questions their perspective.
From the knowledge of my own struggles I strive to provide a solid foundation for every student. I will provide the tools and artistic perspective to nurture that vision, for it to stand on its own or to apply it in support of other forms of expression.
I believe in improving communications at every level; in the unique vision of every individual and the value of that vision. As our society evolves technical knowledge can be learned, but to apply that knowledge creatively into a successful project needs to be nurtured and challenged.
The world needs more artists.
